About Us
We have been making and selling corsets in the UK for over eight years. As we designed our range of bespoke corsetry we learned a great deal about the materials and construction of the modern and historical corset.
We no longer take orders for corsetry but have decided to dedicate ourselves to supplying the best components and consumables to people who want to make their own.
We want to encourage the skills and techniques that go into the absorbing art of corset making and celebrate the enjoyment people have wearing them.
Everything we sell has been used by us and is therefore tried and tested.
We hope that you will have as much fun making and wearing your own corsetry as we have!
We mail order corset supplies only, we don't have a real world shop. We do sometimes have a stall at public events and we'll post notice of these on our 'news and updates' page.
We do not publish a paper catalogue for environmental reasons and because we are constantly expanding our product range.
Please mail us if you would like information about corset making courses.
We do not exchange information provided to us by customers with anyone, for any reason.
We try to use as much recycled and sustainable material in our packaging as possible.
- Our padded bags are made so that the two parts (paper and bubble) can be seperated for reuse/recycling.
- Our tissue paper is made from recycled paper.
- Self Adhesive corrugated card is used for some orders, this can be composted or recycled.
- Most of our plastic bags are biodegradeable.
We would love it if you could reuse/recycle the packaging materials that we send you.
We collect the franked stamps we are sent and use them for charitable donation to the Huntington's Disease Association.
Office and paper waste is either fed to our vermicomposting (worm) bin or sent for recycling.
Fabric scrap goes to a school for art lessons.
Vena Cava is largely fuelled by copious quantities of Fairly Traded tea and coffee:-)
When contacting us about an order it is helpful to us if you could quote the order number in the correspondence, thank you.
