Season's Greetings
We'd like to wish you all a very Happy Festive Season and a Healthy and Happy 2013.
Thank you for your custom and support during 2012.
We will be taking a few days off between 24th December, and January 2nd. We will continue to monitor the email and will try to respond to any emergency supplies you may need :-)
Some of you will already know that as well as running VCD we also care for two elderly parents. One has Parkinson's Disease and the other has Dementia. It can make juggling our time very difficult and also explains why we sometimes email you at some very odd hours of the day!
We are going through a difficult patch with one of them at the moment. We are trying to maintain our normal service and are so far managing to keep up. Please bear with us, we are doing our best.

03/05/12 We've managed to absorb the postage price increases for the last two years but sadly this year our charges have had to go up. Royal Mail have increased their prices and added VAT to UK services. In addition, the cost of packaging has also increased.
We have kept the increase to the minimum possible and will always look for cheaper options.
We apologise for this and hope you understand. We do not make a profit on our postage and packaging charges they are set to cover the actual costs.

27/12/10 We hope that everyone had a happy and peaceful festive season.
The government is increasing VAT to 20% from the beginning of January and I am afraid we have to pass this on to you along with a small general price increase. The world markets in steel and cotton (two resources we rely on) have spiralled during 2010. We held off passing this increased cost on for as long as possible but we cannot absorb these costs any more.
We refuse to compromise on the quality of our materials by using cheap Chinese imports and will always strive to bring you the best products at fair prices.

Please bear with us...... As many of you know as well as supplying corset and costume related materials we are also carers for two elderly and disabled parents. One was taken into hospital today this may cause some disruption to our normal service.
