ORDERING
Simply browse the catalogue adding the required items to your cart. When you have finished shopping click on 'your details' on the cart page. Here you can register if you are a first time user or login if you are revisiting.
DISCOUNT VOUCHERS
If you are paying through Paypal drop us a quick mail after you have paid giving your voucher number and we'll refund the discount. If you are paying by cheque just take the discount off on the total before postage.
SAMPLES
We will send up to ten fabric/boning samples free of charge to UK addresses just mail us with a list of your requirements and your mailing address. Please don't ask for whole products (i.e busks) as we can't afford to sample these.
If you are outside the UK we have to make a nominal charge for postage, just mail us for details.
SIZING
The prices for all tapes, fabric etc is per metre. it is fine to order less than this just use 0.25, 0.5 etc in the quantity box.
We do not charge counting fees.
All measurements are approximate, if your project requires very precise measurements please mail us with the details and we will do our best to match it.
The metric sizings are closest to the actual size of our finished steels and spiral wires.
If you buy more than one metre of boning, fabric or tape you will be sent a continuous piece.

PAYMENT
We can accept card payment through Paypal, cheques (UK only), postal orders, NoChex and bank transfer payment (BACS). Having filled your cart and gone through the checkout you will be given a chance to indicate your preferred method of payment.
Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Vena Cava Design.
All payments should be made in GBP (Sterling) only as we are based in the UK.
If paying by BACS please check if you bank or an intermediary makes any charges.
We will mail you upon receipt of your order and and again on the day of dispatch.
Please, please, please do not email us your credit card details, this is unsafe and we have no way of processing cards manually!
If you want to order through our old system whereby you send us the details of your order and we then invoice you, please do. We know it's nice to have a little human contact in this electronic world.
VAT
All of the prices on the site include UK VAT at a rate of 20%. Our VAT Number is 970267606. If you require a VAT receipt please let us know at the time of purchase.
EU customers who are VAT registered can receive VAT free orders, please mail us with your VAT number before placing your order.
NON-EU Customers can receive their orders VAT free but this request must be made on the point of ordering, please mail us if you require further info.
DELIVERY
Most orders paid for through Paypal or by bank transfer are sent within 2-3 working days. Orders paid for by cheque or Paypal-echeque are sent about 7 days later to allow for clearance.
If your order is urgent please mail us!
Most items delivered within the UK are sent first class Royal Mail or Standard Parcels. If you ever require items urgently please click Postage Options and select your region.
If you have not received your order within a few days do give your local delivery office a ring as the post office don't always leave a card letting you know that they have a parcel for you. If you have not received it after 7 days let us know and we'll investigate for you.
Orders sent outside the UK are posted using Air Mail or courier depending on weight.
Orders to Italy should be send insured if possible due to the high number of parcels lost here. You are advised to use our European Postage options. If you do not choose this option we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost by the Italian postal service.
NB We reserve the right to levy a further delivery charge on orders of fabric over 5m when delivered outside the UK. Mail us if you'd like a quote.

Where delivery is 'Price on Arrangement' follow the cart system detailing your order and we will get back to you with a precise delivery charge for your location in Europe or the rest of the world.
RETURNS
If, in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with any of the goods you receive, please return them in clean and merchantable condition within 14 days of receipt, and we will issue a refund.
We comply with the distance selling regulations.
Please note that due to copyright considerations, patterns and videos will only be considered for refund if they are faulty.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

All sizes quoted are approximate, do contact us if you require components for a project where sizing accuracy is paramount!
