This gorgeous garment can be constructed in a trained or ankle length version, both suitable for the period 1680's-1710's. Includes upper and lower class, closed and open front.
The Mantua was a less formal garment to be worn in the parlour or bedroom. They were worn by all classes and many variations have been found.
