About this product

For the late Victorian silhouette.
The sexiest corset style.Individualized length.

The corset is the essential element in creating the upper half a fashionable silhouette. Only a fallen woman went without a corset. Even the poorest woman in the work house was given some type of corset.

The silhouette of this period was long and stiff, yet subtly curvaceous. The bust and hips were gently rounded (and often padded), the waist was long and lean. Through much of this period the back of the profile was defined by an aggressive bustle. In general, the lady's shape implied go away closer .

This pattern does NOT have gores, so it may be easier to make than a gored corset.

You will need a metal busk and boning to create this garment.

This pattern includes 7 pages of instructions with historical tips, and 1 pattern sheet. It is printed on bond paper, and enclosed in a reclosable plastic bag. All sizes 2 24 are included.
