Prym say....
Sewing, tapestry, patchwork, quilting, appliqué. Whatever technique you use that needs visible but temporary fabric markings, the Prym THERMO trick markers are the handy solution. These heat-erasable marking pencils produce a fine line on a wide range of textiles. They are ideal for working with templates that require very precise drawings. This set from Prym contains two heat-erasable marking pencils, one with white lead and one with blue, to give you clearly visible markings on both light and dark fabrics.
How do I get rid of the pencil markings on the fabric?
An iron is all you need: simply iron without steam to easily remove the lines made using your heat-erasable fabric pencil. Just select the right temperature for the fabric type and use a pressing cloth if you are using delicate fabric. The markings will disappear like magic. Any mistakes you make while marking up can be quickly removed using the integrated rubber.
Alternatively, you can wash the fabric in the washer or by hand. Some handy hints: Store your marking pencil vertically with the cap pointing down so that it cannot dry out. Before you get to work, we recommend testing the pencil on a hidden area as every fabric responds differently. If markings reappear – which they can at temperatures below 0 °C – simply iron again to remove them.
