We have managed to source a fantastically simple and effortless fly press with separate adaptors for setting Prym tools and for end capping spiral wire.
The press is high quality cast iron in a simple design with tool steel and brass parts.
Dies are designed to fit our eyelet and end cap setting press and they do need to be bought together.
Sets of dies fits the end caps to spiral wire 5mm, 6mm, 7mm or 11mm. This saves hours of fiddling with pliers and hammers giving a beautifully professional finish and allows you to custom make your own spiral wires.
We have had a set of dies made that take the Prym tools, this means that with the setting tools that come with the eyelet packs you can set 5mm eyelets and washers. The dies are 1/4" x 24 TPI top thread and12.2mm straight shank bottom.

If you already have your own press these dies might fit. The top die has a screw fit (approx 6.11mm diameter) and the bottom die is a push fit (approx 11.94mm diameter).
Dies are also available to order to fit your own preferred brand of eyelet and washer
TOP TIP FOR END CAP DIES
To get the best results you need to insert the bone and cap in flat, squish. Turn the bone 90 degrees so it is upright, then squish the sides then repeat step one. With a little practice you can get a really neat result and its quick!
If you are making a lot then add a tiny blob of glue to each end before crimping.
