A less fancy Coutil with a herringbone weave. Used as a main corset fabric or as an extremely strong lining fabric. This fabric accepts dyes readily, we usually dye fabric and natural lacing at the same time for matching tones.
The Dylon machine dye gives the most even finish and is the easiest to use. 142cm Wide 100% Cotton. Price is per linear metre. If you buy more than one metre we will send you one continuous piece.

Minimal stretch with the grain.
This is not pre-shrunk. we normally use my steam iron and then leave to dry, some prefer to pre-wash shrink as this removes some of the sizing/stiffness.
The stiffness varies due to the amount of sizing used, each batch is different. You can soften it using a steam iron or wash it.
